The freshest ingredients
Our commitment to customers begins at our dairies. Careful control of the feed stock and herd rotation translates into minimal seasonal variation in the casein-to-whey ratio and mineral profile in our finished milk protein concentrate (MPC). Milk is chilled on the farm and delivered to our processing plant in full truckload quantities, ensuring full-lot traceability of all finished products back to the farm level. The plant is located within 45 minutes of our dairies, and milk delivered to our plant transitions directly to finished product—which can be made to your specifications.
Our processing plant
Our plant was designed and built to provide our customers the freshest, highest quality MPC on the market. We conducted research for three years to develop a process in which the proteins undergo the least possible denaturization. Testing at more than one outside laboratory has shown that our MPC products have 50 percent less denatured whey protein than competitive products. Our outstanding product performance results from the combination of proven technology and enhanced process control. All processing employs filtration techniques rather than high heat to maintain superior protein nutrient quality.
Advanced handling of the carbohydrate portion of our milk, called milk permeate or dairy solids, is also a result of years of research and careful plant design. This enables us to meet customer needs for a carbohydrate product that is soluble and non-hygroscopic, with a good milky flavor and a uniform crystal size.
All of our products are FDA Grade A, rBST-free, OU Kosher, IFANCA Halal, and EU certified.
